The heartbeat of a wise leader,
He jumps over a large tree,
Hooves pounding,
Heart racing,
Breathing heavily,
Antlers raised high and proud,
Then he stops.
He roars to make an announcement to the small herd.
He told of danger,
Hurt and pain,
Anger and jealousy,
Evil ways he told the herd,
They would have to move,
But they have lived here for over three thousand years,
Should they?
Could they?
Would they?
But when they were deciding it happened,
Hatred and agony came,
Killed everyone,
Ate everyone,
The leader was the only one left.
He fled
